THE VALLEY OF THE COCORA

SALENTO

Salento is a Colombian municipality in the department of Quindío. Considered the father of Quindío for being the oldest village of this department. It is also known as the birthplace of the National Tree "La Palma de Cera". Salento has a wide variety of tourist attractions including the Cocora Valley where you can find a panorama full of nature and ecological walks and delight in the divine landscapes of this place. PARK OF THE CAFE

The National Coffee Park is a Colombian theme park located in the municipality of Montenegro, Quindio Colombia. This was founded in 1995 by the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia and the Departmental Committee of Coffee Growers of Quindío. It has a cable car, an attraction of colorful animatronic orchids, a world coffee garden, a roller coaster, coffee-based food stalls, Colombian folk architecture, and other attractions, totaling 22 attractions at the end of 2009.

THE PARK OF THE VID

Just 100 meters from Los Fundadores Park, on Avenida Bolívar, the most significant one in Armenia, is El Parque de la Vida. THE FREE CEMETERY OF CIRCACIA

The Free Cemetery of Circasia is located on the outskirts of the municipality on the way to Montenegro. It was established in 1933 by Braulio Botero as a place where anyone could be buried, regardless of their religious beliefs or lack thereof. The cemetery is today a symbol of freedom and equality. LOS PARK ARRIEROS

THE GOLD MUSEUM QUIMBAYA

MARIPOSARIO

The Botanical Garden of Quindío, in Calarca, is a significant pole of scientific exploration and environmental training. This garden has one of the largest collections of butterflies in Colombia and the land. It was the first lawfully instituted of Colombia. It was founded in 1978 by Alberto Gómez Mejía, the OIKOS Organization, the University of Quindío and the Gardening Club of Armenia, responding to the proposal made by Professor Jesús M. THE LIGHTING OF QUIMBAYA
